Many of us either don't have time or can't afford to go to the Gym. +blogilates Videos on YouTube are fun and great way to exercise! She makes working out seems fun and exciting with her positive energy and fun personality. She even has monthly Calendars that tell you the workout you should do in the day. Exercising is the only way to tone up.
Eating healthily or in a moderate way is important as well. Healthy food doesn't have to be "boring" or take too much time to prepare. You can make a rule of eating at least one healthy meal a day. For example, instead of eating pizza for lunch, you can roast chicken breast and/or make a chicken salad. Instead of eating pancakes you can simply mash a banana and mix it with 2 eggs then use a non-stick pan to make them. You can add blueberries, or strawberries, really an fruits you like as a side dish. and there you have your healthy meal!
Smoothies are great and healthy refreshments for summer. Making it health is the key! using low fat greek yogurt, subsisting Milk with soy milk, or you can use low fat milk. Also adding a banana or one tbsp of honey instead of sugar. Green smoothies are good for your digestive system. Adding kale, or spinach with any combo works pretty much. Or if you want to stick to non green smoothies you can try simple one as Strawberry and Banana, or All berry smoothie. There are lots of different combinations!
Green tea is known for its great benefits of cleansing the body because it contains anti oxidants which helps to burn fat. It also fastens your metabolism. Drinking one cup daily will help you. If you want a stronger effect, you can try Matcha green tea. Matcha is more concentrated because you ingest the whole leaf rather than the brewed water in green tea. Drinking one cup of matcha green tea equals 10 glasses of green tea in terms of nutritional value and anti oxidant content.
Many of us are guilty of not drinking enough water. Adding a lemon in your water will simply help you detox the bad things out of your body. It's also called Fat Flusher, slimming water, etc. There are many combos that you could find. A simple one that i like to use is: Cucumber, lemon, orange, mint leaves. 2-3 slices of each with 2-3 mint leaves with water of course. Sometimes if i feel fancy i add Strawberries, Raspberries, Apples. If you want it to be a little more effective you can add some iced green tea in the mix!
Walking at least half hour a day is still a form of exercise! start with half an hour then keep adding more and more. A good app i use is called "Moves" where it tells you how many steps you've walked, how much calories you burned and so on. Walking is not only good for maintaining weight, but also good for you to relieve stress, clear your mind, keep you feeling good.
Using smaller plates will trick your brain by thinking you ate enough. It will help you reduce the amount of portions you eat. Get a small plate and fill it, that way you'll think you ate a lot while you actually ate less than what you'd eat in a big plate! Basically eat until you're 80% full.
Carbs take a loooong time to process in our body. instead of eating 2 toast a sandwich, eat 1! or you can eat whole wheat for healthier option. Tortillas bread are thin and light, Choose the healthier versions to make good sandwiches. Everybody loves bread and most of us just can't give up on it. Eating healthier versions of bread is still better than no bread! ^__~
Choose one day a week where you can eat what your heart desires. After eating healthy for a week you'll crave something like cheese cake or chocolate bar, or such. Choose one day to fulfill this craving -in a moderate amount of course-. My treat day is saturday, instead of eating a whole kitkat bar- which contains 4 fingers- I eat 2 of them. Remember not to waste your week of hard work in one treat day! :)
Believe it or not, sleeping early and having full 8 hours of sleep will help you eat better and crave less. Sleeping will reduce stress, burn calories, just have better days in general! Lack of sleep will cause imbalance in your life, hormones, thoughts and cravings. Try having a full goodnight sleep and notice the difference yourself!
Hope you found this helpful! if you have any other tips please share them!
