Why Is It Important To Take Care Of Yourself

In this day and age it's really easy to get swamped with work, errands, daily life stress, and life in general forgetting the main source of energy, Yourself. 


With little to no time to sleep, your body and mind doesn't have the chance to regenerate energy. while there are few things that give you enough energy to get by ( Coffee, Energy drinks, pill,etc) they're no substitute!
running on low energy will start appearing physically too. puffy eyes, dark circles ( which are not cute unless you're a panda), wrinkles (Yikes), skin condition will go downhill. Not fun stuff at all.
You can apply all skincare in the world, spend money on all the energy drinks, but instead, you can do something for free, SLEEP!


We often find ourselves stressing over the smallest stuff and overthinking things which leads to mental exhaustion. We're caught in the vast world of thoughts of "What if, Maybe, and But". We're just creating problematic scenarios for ourselves⎯ it'll drive you crazy. If you find yourself drowning in thoughts, remind yourself to take a break, wether thats a walk, reading a book, or hanging out with friends. As the saying goes "Don't sweat the small stuff." 

Think of a machine, if you over work it beyond its capacity, it'll eventually weaken and collapse.

Take time for yourself. Pause everything else. Do something you love; perhaps drinking tea while reading a book, shopping, or playing video games or even catching up on your favourite show. Whatever floats your boat.

At the end of the day, you're your own source of energy, so it's really important to take care of yourself, emotionally and physically.

Taking care of yourself will bring the best potential version of you. A happy, relaxed and energetic person. why wouldn't anyone want to be that?
